A graduate of the University of British Columbia (BA) and Dalhousie University (LLB), Philip has conducted a domestic and international commercial practice wherein he has advised a broad spectrum of Canadian and international clients regarding their major project, energy, mining, and renewable energy related activities. A former long-time partner at one of the Dentons Canada initial legacy law firms (Milner Fenerty), he has since leaving that firm in 1994 practiced as a sole practitioner with the exception of the period from July, 2000 through to May, 2002 when he headed up the energy law services division at Ernst & Young Indonesia in Jakarta.
